SafetyWeb has been in the construction industry for over 16 years and have evolved our service offering to include construction, civil works, earthmoving and environmental services and safety consulting.
We have successfully implemented health and safety systems at all our construction sites. While going through the process of developing and implementing site-specific safety systems at our various projects, we have identified a need and a gap in the market for the provision of cost-effective and site-specific safety systems to Small to medium construction companies
What You Are Possibly Experiencing
The Construction industry is competitive, “cut-throat” industry and companies are often not awarded/are often delayed in a project because of the following:
- Many clients have intensive and strict Safety requirements which smaller companies struggle to adhere to as they do not have the knowledge, manpower or funds to meet these requirements.
- Construction companies are contracted to do relatively small value projects but still need to provide a detailed safety system.
- Many construction companies do not have the staff complement to appoint someone to just handle
their safety - Employees are not equipped to develop safety documentation.
- Safety consulting firms are very expensive and the project budget does not allow large amounts for preliminary and general costs.
- Safety Consulting firms do not always provide site-specific safety documents and we often pay for a “copy and paste” safety file.
